Reopen Madison & Dane County Schools

Our children's futures are at stake

Why aren't we open?

90% of surveyed Wisconsin school districts had a plan for in-person or hybrid instruction. Public Health Madison-Dane County and the teachers unions have blocked your public and private schools from opening.

Your Dane County Executive, Joe Parisi, has abused his power in a zealous attempt to close local schools and businesses. Parisi and his team at Public Health Madison & Dane County are preempting duly elected school boards. Parisi would rather cave to the teacher's unions demands than do what's best for Dane County's students.

Teachers want to teach. Students want to learn. But the unions want to keep everyone home. They've bought their influence in Dane County and will do whatever they can to reject in-person and hybrid schooling. The unions don't care about what is best for your children.

Harming Our Children's Future

"Extended school closure is harmful to children.  It can lead to severe learning loss, and the need for in-person instruction is particularly important for students with heightened behavioral needs. Following the wave of school closures in March 2020 due to COVID-19, academic learning slowed for most children and stopped for some."
